SUBMISSION INFORMATION

We openly encourage submissions from writers, pencilers, inkers, colourists and letterers. For projects with a full creative team already onboard please read the proposal section below. In your submission email please include your area of expertise in the subject line. 

EXAMPLE- JOHN DOE-WRITERS SUBMISSION. 

WRITERS- Feel free to shoot us an email with an attached resume/CV of relevant information. Please don't include samples, just focus on the resume. We will reach out to you when an opportunity arises for further samples. 

EVERYONE ELSE –Fire over those portfolios. Comics are sequential books and we'll heavily favour those who show sequential pages in their portfolios. Also include a very short cover letter outlining your previous work history. 

PROPOSALS- We're always on the lookout for series with teams already attached. Our main focus is on graphic novels, mini series and stand alone one-shots. We're not interested in series that are expected to run for more than eight issues. 

WHAT TO INCLUDE- A cover and a minimum of six sequential pages is a must. We need to see how it will read. A brief cover letter of the team involved and as short of a synopsis as possible. 

Here at Puppet Theatre we pay page rates.  Meaning if we accept your project we will pay you directly. How that money is divided between the team is up to you.
